Do you take a percentage of what I recover?
No — and this is our most important differentiator. DisputeDash is 100% flat-fee. We never take a commission on won chargebacks. Every dollar you recover stays yours. At volume, this means you can save tens of thousands of dollars annually compared to percentage-based tools.
What counts as a dispute?
Every case DisputeDash handles counts toward your monthly limit — chargebacks, PayPal inquiries, and pre-arbitrations alike, whether it's fought or resolved automatically — because each one is a decision the platform makes, acts on, and logs on your behalf. Pre-arbitration handling is configurable: auto-accept (the default), fight them all, or fight only those above a dollar threshold you set; auto-accepted pre-arbs count like any other case, since the automation did the work. Resolving an inquiry early settles the case before it ever becomes a chargeback — no processor dispute fee, no hit to your chargeback rate. Accepting a pre-arb early closes out a case that isn't worth escalating before it racks up further fees.
What happens if I go over my monthly limit?
Each additional dispute beyond your plan's limit is billed at your tier's overage rate — $2.50 on Starter, $2.00 on Growth, $1.50 on Scale. You'll see a running estimate in your dashboard before the billing cycle closes. Automation never stops — disputes are processed and billed, no surprises at the end of the month.
How is DisputeDash different from Chargeflow or Justt?
Three ways. Pricing: Chargeflow charges 25% of every dollar it recovers; Justt doesn't publish its fee at all. Ours is a flat monthly fee, and it's on this page. Control: both run hands-off — you don't see the evidence before it's submitted in your name. DisputeDash shows you every item and lets you review before submission, or run full auto — your choice, per brand. Fit: they're built for single Shopify stores or enterprise contracts. DisputeDash is built for multi-brand operators running Braintree, Stripe, PayPal, PayArc, and Shopify Payments side by side.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day — so you only pay for what you use. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, giving you full access to the higher tier until then. No hidden penalties.

What is the Free tier — what's the catch?
There is no catch. The Free tier gives you full analytics visibility — dispute volume, win/loss rates by processor, recovered-revenue tracking — across all your connected processors and brands, with no cap. There's no time limit and no credit card required. Automation is locked behind paid plans, which is how we upsell. But the analytics are genuinely free, forever.
How does multi-brand work?
Multi-brand is available on every plan — add unlimited brands from day one, at no extra per-brand cost. Each brand gets its own processor accounts, rebuttal letter templates, brand assets (T&C, refund policy), and automation settings. You can toggle manual review vs. full automation independently per brand. Analytics are available both per-brand and rolled up across your entire portfolio. You only ever pay for dispute volume — never per brand, processor, or seat.
Is my dispute data secure?
All evidence files are stored in encrypted cloud storage (AES-256). All API connections and credential storage use encryption at rest and in transit. Data is logically isolated per account — no cross-tenant access is possible by design. All user accounts require two-factor authentication. SOC 2 Type I is coming soon for Enterprise customers.
